For surgical assistants

The Surgical Assistants Group Victoria was formed by a group of like-minded surgical assistants and a surgical practice manager looking for a professional and cost-effective way to manage surgical assistants' administrative needs. Established in 2018, we have taken advantage of new technological software advances to provide an efficient service for informing patients of their financial costing and processing payments and accounts. The advantages of becoming a member of Surgical Assistants Group Victoria include:• Operating list scheduling and surgical assisting calendar management, assisting with temporary accreditation applications • Offer to cover operating lists during times of personal leave• Providing custom informed financial consent to patients • Processing of invoices, payment receipting and debt management• Access to cloud-based scheduling and accounting software suite• Sense of collegiality of being part of a group of surgical assistants We offer a package for assistants working in a full-time capacity with a transparent fee structure (see below).
In order to be considered for membership you must hold current medical registration with AHPRA and hold current medical indemnity insurance.
